Hello! I am Therin I started as an artist, gained skills of a designer and I'd like to think of myself as a creative technologist.
I love creating experiences and alternating user perspectives by leaving an impact through challenging my audience.
Leeir is a place that holds almost all of my projects and a personal internet archive for my works, as well as a refection of my creative philosophy.
Leeir (pronounced Lee - ear) has the homophones of Leer, Leir and Lear which have different definitions.
These definitions can be related to the categories of my projects:
Leer to gaze - unpleasant or sensual, I these works are created to challenge audiences and get a reaction out of them
Lear to learn, I think the best way to learn is through experience
Leir to be from earth, Less techy work, the first medium I used are paper. You can also see the first forms of my digital projects as sketches. Drawing has always been a part of my process.
Ideas and projects can grow from the weirdest of places.
This includes books I've read, games I've played, shows I've binged, yap sessions I've listened to etc.
There is no 'right' inspiration. I'm not afraid to share the interests that I love and how they leave their subtle traces on my work.
